We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our growing firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on our business and clients. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax strategy, compliance, and planning activities to ensure our company meets its financial and legal obligations while maximizing tax savings.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tax Manager, you will have a broad range of responsibilities including:

1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, including federal and state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and S corporations.
2. Developing and implementing strategic tax planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profitability.
3. Researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings.
4. Liaising with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
5. Providing expert tax advice to senior management and other stakeholders on a variety of tax matters.
6. Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior tax staff.
7. Staying current with the latest developments in tax law and regulations and advising management on changes that could impact the company's tax strategy.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
2. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
4. Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations, tax planning strategies, and tax compliance procedures.
5. Experience with tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and S corporations.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws and regulations.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
8. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
9. Proficiency in tax software and other relevant technology.
