Cardiovascular Tech I - Evening Shift

Location: Not specified

This is a 13-week contract position.

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Tech I to work the evening shift in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will assist physicians in various procedures related to cardiovascular health, including but not limited to Cardiac Catheterization, Angioplasty, and the use of advanced technologies.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Tech I will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with various procedures while ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety. Responsibilities will include preparing the procedure room, assisting with patient preparation, and operating necessary equipment during cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile trays and organize specific equipment for each procedure.


• Prepares patients prior to procedures, including EKG lead attachment and betadine scrubbing.


• Assist in monitoring patients and calibrating equipment for precise readings.


• Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.


• Maintain digital cine technologies and ensure proper storage and retrieval of patient images.


• Assist with inventory control and equipment maintenance.


• Provide supportive measures during emergency situations to restore patients' wellbeing.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or similar invasive procedure area.


• Experience in hemodynamic monitoring and sterile operative techniques.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
