Store Shopper at Wegmans Food Markets summary:

As a Store Shopper at Wegmans, you will efficiently fulfill customer grocery orders using company technology, ensuring accuracy and quality. Responsibilities include selecting, bagging, and staging items for curbside pickup, with the possibility of assisting in other customer service tasks such as operating the register. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Part time
Availability: Morning, Afternoon, Evening (Includes Weekends). Shifts start as early as 6am
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older

As an in-store shopper, you will utilize the latest technology to engage with customers through an app, shopping their orders and staging them for pickup. What You'll Do

• Utilize technology to communicate with and fulfill customer orders
• Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in fulfillment area
• Properly handle all product, including properly bagging items to reach the customer
• Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workspace
• May be expected to carry out other customer service duties within the store, as needed, including running a register

Requirements

• Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting
• Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
