JOB SUMMARY



The Order Fulfillment Team Member / Receiving Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, accurate, and efficient receipt, stocking, and flow of materials through the StoneAge manufacturing and distribution process. While this position supports all facets of order fulfillment, its primary focus is on receiving—including unloading, inspecting, organizing, and accurately entering inbound materials and products into the system.

This team member will also provide flexible support across the fulfillment team, contributing to inventory control, warehousing, and shipping during high-demand periods. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Reports to: Sr. Operations Manager: Order Fulfillment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Primary Focus: Receiving Responsibilities



- Unload, inspect, receive, and stock all inbound materials, products, and supplies.
- Receive inbound packages and freight from UPS, FedEx, and carriers.
- Utilize ERP (Epicor) and handheld scanning system for accurate receiving transactions.
- Set up new parts and related data in the ERP system to support inventory and procurement accuracy.
- Maintain receiving documentation, including packing slips, PO validation, and inspection reports.
- Work closely with Procurement and Quality Control to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth intake processes.
- Organize and manage bin locations in the digital receiving warehouse.
- Process RMA and warranty items according to established procedures.
- Manage trash and recyclables within area of responsibility.
- Communicate and report metric errors contributing to Supplier Score Card.
- Maintain and improve receiving accuracy and operational metrics.
- Maintain OSHA lift truck certification and safely operate warehouse equipment.

Secondary: General Order Fulfillment Duties



- Support picking, packing, and palletizing of customer orders.
- Ship orders within the ERP system and maintain 99.5% on-time and accurate shipment standards.
- Pull and issue parts for production work orders.
- Stock inventory from Receiving and Quality Control into appropriate bins.
- Generate and maintain accurate inventory and shelf labels.
- Prioritize workload using Order Consolidation Dashboards.
- Provide freight quotes and collaborate with Sales on shipping-related questions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Inventory & Continuous Improvement



- Perform cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies.
- Assist in warehouse space and storage evaluations.
- Maintain a “Safety First” culture and proactively contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
- Drive the StoneAge Continuous Improvement Mindset through daily actions.

KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS



- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Epicor) and handheld warehouse scanning tools.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of FIFO inventory practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong dexterity are beneficial.
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer service.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & OTHER DETAILS



- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. using proper technique.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Extended hours may be required during peak operational periods.
- Must maintain a forklift certification (training provided, if needed).
