The client is looking to do a project restructuring their business from multiple divisions into a single entity. Currently have 5 active business units (varying level of revenue per unit) and revenue range in total is in the $600-800million range. They are only focused on the USA and have divisions set up through the country. Each division operates independently, but would like to have them operate more in unison. A key question is how much historical data is relevant/required/desired and helping business understand implication of pro’s and con’s of that business decision.
The resource would help them determine the best solution and design a plan around this project to go from multiple decisions to a single entity within JD Edwards Enterprise one 9.2. The biggest areas of guidance needed are around project management building the plan and around financials in JD Edwards to determine the best solution for the project and the implementation. The outside consultant of financials lead and project manager would align with client project manager and other internal resources as needed for the project team.
The ideal timeline would include an assessment/planning engagement to determine scope and strategy and then to immediately move into an implementation road map. The implementation go live would be 1/1/2024, but would involve some areas of plateaus and cut overs throughout that time period. The resource must have gone through project of consolidation of business units into single entity as JD Edwards financials lead.
