Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Roll Grinder Operator to join their team. As a Roll Grinder Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Set up, operate, and maintain large roll grinders used to regrind various materials including rubber and steel covers on large diameter paper machine rolls.
• Display a positive attitude conducive to a collaborative shop environment.
• Perform required job functions in a safe and efficient manner while promoting quality standards.
• Utilize overhead cranes and other equipment to lift and move heavy loads as needed.
• Be willing to learn and perform other operational tasks as required, including potential shift work.

What's Needed?

• Experience with large roll grinders and overhead cranes is preferred.
• Ability to perform manual lifting (up to 40 lbs) and operate various industrial equipment.
• Background in paper mill roll grinding or similar industrial equipment operation is advantageous.
• Dependability regarding attendance and a willingness to work overtime when required.
• A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory if relevant experience is demonstrated.
