Position Summary

Maintain medical records in compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer training or experience in Windows based computer programs
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with medical records systems

Responsibilities:

  1. Work an eight-hour shift five days a week and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Overtime may be required.
  2. Accurately scanning all paperwork in corresponding electronic health records
  3. Maintain medical records database, compile data and report status of medical records as directed.
  4. Performs audit reviews on medical records for completeness, timeliness and accuracy at each level of treatment.
  5. Compile and send out information requested from other agencies in accordance with all confidentiality and licensing requirements.
  6. Work with and train any assigned staff regarding client service records filing/documentation review.
  7. Maintain off-site storage and dispose of appropriate records according to agency policy.
  8. Participate in Performance Improvement teams as required.
  9. Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
  10. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  11. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  12. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Location: Onsite- Rosecrance Mulford Office - Rockford, IL

Compensation & Rewards

    • Base Pay: Starting at $19.32/hr ( pay is based on education, experience, and credentials )
