Opens and classifies payment mail on high speed mail opening equipment. Meet department performance standards for speed and accuracy. Must be willing to work night shift hours. Job Duties Responsibilities - Operates equipment that sorts envelopes with customer payments based on business rules and delivers to the next processing step - Performs basic troubleshooting of equipment as needed - Operates high speed mail processing equipment to open envelopes extract content and image documents to process payments - Operates rapid extraction machinery efficiently to process exceptions that cannot be handled through high speed equipment - Uses vendor software to complete simple keying functions to apply customer payments or route change of address requests - Performs other job-related duties as assigned - Must work be willing to work a rotating shift across Monday to Saturday - Work is physical in nature - Must be able to lift trays of 10 to 15 lbs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
