The Lead Business Analyst Global SAP Financials has a unique opportunity to make an impact within Ecolab. Ecolab has implemented SAP in its largest markets and is committed to harmonizing its ERPs by deploying SAP in remaining markets and acquired businesses, as well as upgrade to S4/HANA in the near future. This person will lead development and deployment work related to the SAP financial modules and process design. This position provides exposure to senior leadership across Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) as well as finance leaders across multiple regions.

Ecolab is seeking a Lead Business Process Analyst to work with the global EBS (“Ecolab business solutions”) team to identify, document, and validate business system requirements to configure and provide the functionality necessary to meet business objectives and project goals. This role will be instrumental in working closely with business partners to understand their needs at a business process level, translate them into functional process and/or solution requirements, and deliver excellent results to collectively achieve highest priority business objectives aimed at driving bold company visions of a world-class, digital supply chain transformation.

Location : St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL

What You Will Do:

• Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, Go Live and Hypercare of Ecolab’s SAP implementation projects.
• Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with our internal customers.
• Gain expertise in S4HANA Financial area
• Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address solution gaps and issues.
• Ensure standard solution usage whenever it´s possible. Be able to provide workarounds when SAP standard solutions does not fit to Ecolab’s business scenarios.
• Get involved with our business scenarios, be able to understand business needs and discuss best approaches to help them.
• Customize / Configure our SAP landscape following our global standards, localization requirements and additional / new business scenarios.
• Develop complex requirements for process or system solutions within the business domain leveraging multiple business requirements gathering methodologies to identify business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain expert product knowledge using an analytical approach to identifying opportunities for enhancements.
• Develop and execute plans and organize work to ensure efficient delivery of results to meet business expectations.
• Aid in the evolution of applications, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state by maintaining an understanding of how current processes impact business operations; mapping current state against future state processes; identifying value gaps and opportunities for process enhancements or efficiencies; defining the impact of requirements on upstream and downstream solution components; providing recommendations to management on how to integrate requirements with current systems and business processes
• Learn and apply existing and new system processes, and methodologies that lead to new systems which contribute significantly to business success.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or commensurate experience
• SAP product experience and/or at least 3 years prior relevant industry/solutions experience
• Knowledge on SAP FI: FI-AR (Account Receivable), FI-AP (Account Payables), New GL(General Ledger), FI-AA (Asset Account), Profitability Analytics (CO-PA); Month/year end closing activities and Configuration of SAP FI integration into commercial and supply chain areas.
• Exposure in reports for all the sub-modules and able to create financial reports for the external agencies for the Balance sheets and P&L statements from the SAP BI environment.
• Process/capability understanding of Finance and ideally Commercial/Supply Chain Finance business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability and good will to pick up knowledge in new areas.
• Experience building and retaining (internal) customer relationships, strong business partnership-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work well within a team, focusing on building relationships with all project stakeholders
• Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) in the range of 25% of the time as well as work remotely with stakeholders in various international markets
• Good Verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Proven ability of learning new skills, technologies, and passionate about conveying knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with connected systems like Onbase, Concur, Blackline, etc.
• Development (ABAP) experience
• Well versed with Freight accounting and exposure to any TMS (Transportation management Solutions).
• Working experience in internal and external tax software’s like Vertex/ Thomson Reuters, etc.
• Hands on experience on migration of the financial data (master data & transactional data) into SAP systems using SAP BODS, LSMW, BDC.
• Experience in FSCM – Financial Supply Chain Management sub-modules. Collections Management, Dispute Management, Credit Management.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
