Field Service Technician – Industrial Equipment (Base + Overtime)

We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Technician with experience working on large-scale industrial equipment who’s ready for a role with variety, travel, and big responsibility. This is a unique chance to work on some of the largest machines in the industry —including the biggest one in North America—while building towards a potential leadership role.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct equipment inspections and produce detailed reports.
• Supervise job sites, managing crews of 5–6 for 1–2 weeks at a time.
• Troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain large mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with international technical teams.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on all projects.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide solutions tailored to their needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven field service experience with heavy industrial equipment (not limited to diesel engines).
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Willingness to travel ~50% (primarily Southeast US; some Midwest, Northeast, Pacific Northwest; occasional Canada/Mexico trips).
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and job site demands.
• Supervisory experience in managing crews.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and field reporting applications.
• Technical degree or relevant certifications preferred.

Location

• Preferably within 200 miles of Augusta, GA (Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbia, Savannah, Jacksonville all considered).
• Can work from home when not traveling.

Compensation & Perks

• $80,000 base salary + overtime (~$100,000 total expected first year).
