Controls Engineer In Greenville, SC

The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, with the knowledge and ability to effectively function within a small business environment. The individual will have responsibilities in the areas of PLC programming, electrical design, continuous improvement, cost reduction, sustaining engineering, and custom product design innovation for our existing products, as well as the development and implementation of new products and processes.

Required:

  • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing facility, with demonstrated experience functioning in a team environment, developing strong customer relations.
  • Candidate will have strong engineering and technical background in PLC programming: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Pro-Logic, Compact Logic, Productivity.
  • Hands-on experience in PLC programs using ladder, sequential function chart, function block diagram and structural test logic.
  • Design and write logic for HMI's displays for machines and remote interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with the Factory Talk software for Industrial Monitors.
  • Candidate will be heavily involved in electrical design utilizing AutoCad.
  • Assisting Foremost manufacturing with set-up and inspection of equipment at Foremost.
  • Customer service answering customer's questions, troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Provide cost estimates based on customer requirements and available time / resources.
  • Responsible for the development and creation of electrical BOMs, as well as the initial creation of quality / inspection documentation.
  • Manufacturing and R & D experience a plus.
  • Trade school or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

Job Details:
