BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: Regrind, recondition and/or manufacture cutting tools per instructions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Grind tools per work order instructions
\n - Inspect tools per print.
\n - Setup machine before starting work order instructions.
\n - Return tooling to proper location after completion of work order instruction.
\n - Train others as needed.
\n - Report & communicate on a daily basis to Shop Supervisor
\n - Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
\n - Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
\n
QUALIFICATIONS What You Need: - High School Graduate w/ basic math skills
\n - Training or additional education with reading blueprints
\n - Training or knowledge of industrial precision grinding equipment
\n
Bonus Points If You Have: - Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously.
\n - Ability to read blueprints.
\n - Ability to inspect tools per print.
\n - Ability to read work order instructions.
\n

Compensation starting at $18hr - $23hr depending on experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this position at this time.
