CNA / DSP

Cairo, GA | $12.00 - $15.00 / Hourly

New Hire Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA / DSP that will be responsible for providing personal care and designated health related services designed to maintain the resident’s physical and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will encourage resident independence while promoting dignity, respect, and choice in everyday care

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as indicated on their individual service agreement(including but not limited to dressing, showering, grooming, toilet assistance, etc)
• Assist residents with daily room order and light housekeeping
• Assist residents with personal laundry duties
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Promote independence with residents offering choices and fostering self-help skills
• Perform routine procedures as delegated by the RN Supervisor
• Document any changes in resident’s condition
• Complete incident reports according to policy
• Recognize abnormal signs and symptoms
• Encourage, gather, and/or escort residents to participate in scheduled activity programs
• Lead activity programs as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in an assisted living environment preferred
• CNA licensing preferred
• Clean drug screen
• Willing to undergo criminal background check
• Understand and adhere to the Vulnerable Adult and abuse policy, Bill of Rights, and HIPAA

Location: Cairo, Georgia

Pay Rate: $12.00 - $15.00 / Hourly

Schedule: 7 AM – 7 PM 3 on 2 off, or 7 PM – 7 AM 3 on 2 off
