Overview

We have a current opening for a Chief Information Officer (CIO). This position can sit out of our Sacramento, Long Beach, Pleasanton or Dallas Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide IT strategies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, artificial intelligence and mobile field technologies.
• Provide strategic leadership and deep technical expertise to drive digital transformation across the construction enterprise.
• Ensure technology investments align with business goals, enhance project delivery, and support long-term growth.
• Foster innovation and operational efficiency to empower project teams with real-time data, integrated systems, and scalable platforms to improve collaboration, safety, and productivity on job sites.
• Lead change management and digital literacy initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new technologies across the organization.
• Promote a collaborative, people-first culture and mentorship, inclusion, and professional development to build high-performing IT teams.
• Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business units, with a strong understanding of construction workflows.
• Maintain and improve cybersecurity readiness and risk mitigation efforts.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field; 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or executive leadership roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of leading successful strategic initiatives.

Safety & Physical Requirements

• Must wear proper PPE while on jobsites
• Must comply with all safety standards and procedures
• Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday
• Will lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, crouch, and reach
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times

Salary Range

• $220,000/year - $295,000/year
